OUR MISSION:
SF SAPS seeks to empower middle school students by helping them develop the fundamental skills and self-confidence necessary to become more articulate and persuasive speakers.
In a world that is becoming increasingly competitive, public speaking and self-advocacy are two skills that play a crucial role in a student's success. Yet, despite the importance of these skills, very few programs provide any form of public speaking training for middle school students. SF SAPS believes that public speaking training should be free and accessible to anybody who seeks to improve their skills or learn new ones.
As such, SF SAPS offers free enrichment workshops utilizing a discussion-based curriculum designed specifically for middle school students. Developed and taught by a team of passionate high school students, students receive an interactive hands-on learning experience in small group cohorts, creating a safe environment where our students can feel comfortable being active participants and cultivate new skills.

WHY JOIN?
